Congrats UNC

North Carolina is up by 21 at the half and setting a championship game record with 55 points at halftime. So I figured I would congratulate them as they are well on there way to there second national championship in four years. This tournament run has been one of the most impressive in recent memory. They have beaten every team by double digits and have only been challenged by one team, LSU before Ty Lawson took over and carried the Tar Heels to the sweet 16. It also seemed like North Carolina would never miss a three pointer and were truly unstoppable.
Coming into the tournament I thought they were in trouble with a hurt Ty Lawson, so I stupidly picked Gonzaga to beat them. That didn't happen. North Carolina was the most talented team in college basketball this year and it showed during March.
The Heels were lead by Ty Lawson, who was the best point guard in college basketball and then maybe the greatest Tar Heel of all-time Tyler Hansbrough, made this years team almost unstoppable. To go along with those two were Wayne Ellington, Danny Green, and Deon Thompson all averaging over 10 points. I am happy for Hansbrough, Lawson, and Green who all could have gone pro last year, but they stayed to achieve the goal of winning the national championship. Mission accomplished.
So, Congratulations to North Carolina on their great season and National Championship.

Jimmy Nantz still ruined the game even though its already over. Gus/Raftery '10.
