Tear Down the New Yankee Stadium

The new stadium cost $1.5 billion dollars to make and less than one month into the season its about time the Yankees move back across the street to the house that Ruth built. I never liked the idea of the Yankees getting a new stadium in the first place. The old Yankee Stadium was one of the most historic ballparks ever. If the Red Sox ever moved out of Fenway Park or the Cubs ever left Wrigley, they would never be the same. The Red Sox belong in Fenway. The Cubs belong in Wrigley and the Yankees belonged in the house that Ruth built.
The house that Steinbrenner built is a launching pad. It's a joke how easily players are hitting home runs. I could go opposite field yaking in the Bronx now. 35 home runs in 10 games? That is crazy. The Yankees really have to fix the right field wall. With the wind all anybody has to do is hit a pop-up to go yard.
The Yankees can't even sell out the new ballpark because of the crazy ticket prices. The new stadium will never have the same feel of the old ballpark. The fans may be as obnoxious as they have always been but when the first 20 rows behind home plate are always empty, it changes the feeling of the stadium. No team will ever be intimidated of going to play the Yankees anymore. The ghosts of Yankees past are not going to be creeping up anytime soon, it's too expensive for player like Gerhig and Mantle to go to the new stadium.
Just tear down the new ballpark and move back to the stadium that the Yankees truly belong in. Its been up since 1923 and it should still be the home of the Yankees.

Say It Ain't So Brett

I swear to God if Brett Favre comes out of retirement I am going to drive to Mississippi to take out his knees with a 5-iron. Honestly, will his career ever end? What more does he have to play for? He has a Super Bowl, three MVP's, almost every QB record. Why is he doing this?
He is tarnishing his legacy every single day. Could you have imagined Favre playing for the Vikings two years ago. Maybe the greatest Packer of all-time wants to become a purple people eater. This is ridiculous.
If this comeback takes as long as the last one did I will honestly lose my mind. Sportscenter will not stop talking about this until the start of the new season or until Ed Werder has another sit down interview with him. At this point I have more respect for A-Roid than I have for Favre. Just stay retired Brett, everybody is tired of your comebacks.
