2013 PGA Championship Prediction

First of all, Luke Donald. Seriously guy? An 80 in the first round at The Open Championship. For holes 12-14, a double bogey, then a par, and then a TRIPLE. Do you even golf bro?

Luke became my first pick so far to miss the cut. Not pleased with him at all. Meanwhile, my two guest pickers chose two guys who were in contention on Sunday, Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter, both of whom finished tied for third.

It's time for the final major of the year and I'm 0 for 3. I need a winner.

I know this entire year I have been talking down about Tiger, and with good reason. He just hasn't shown up for the weekends at majors in the past five years. In his past six major events on Saturday and Sunday he is +23. Not good at all. However I'm picking him for the PGA Championship. Yep. Tiger Woods at 7/2.

Last week he was just too impressive at the Bridgestone. The 61 on Friday ended the tournament. He ran away and hid after that, just like the old Tiger used to do.

The only thing that worries me is that nobody has won a PGA Tour event and then won a Major the following week since 2007. But guess what player did that? Tiger
in the same exact events. So if anybody can do it, El Tigre can. Also Phil Mickelson won the Scottish Open the week before the Open Championship, so it's not impossible to go belly to belly.

Even though they made me look bad last time. Tim is picking Adam Scott at 16/1 and Mike is also picking Tiger.

P.S. It's hard to believe that Rory McIlroy is the defending champion considering how terrible his year has been.
